![]() ![]() ‘At FUJIFILM we believe that the magic of a beautiful image can only be truly appreciated and preserved when it is printed. The PrintLife Exhibition at Sandton City in June will be the first time that the Exhibition is to be held on African shores. ![]() The PrintLife concept has since grown in stature, travelling across the globe, with exhibitions held in Germany, Spain, Canada and the United States amongst others, printing thousands of photos in the process. Started in 2006, the first exhibition attracted more than 10 000 images, rising to 50 000 images the year after. The PrintLife Exhibition has its origin in Japan, the birthplace of FUJIFILM, more than a decade ago. They also either enter a lucky draw for the amazing FUJIFILM X-T100 mirrorless camera or one of five INSTAX instant cameras, or receive a 20 per cent discount on their next Photo Book. All those who successfully enter the South African PrintLife Exhibition will receive 20 jumbo photo prints from participating retailers for free. Photos taken with any brand of camera or smartphone are allowed, however, only one entry per person is permitted. Images are not expected to be professional photos, with all digital images under consideration, in any category, whether landscapes, portraits, action, macro, street scenes or black-and-white. ![]() This will be the first time that the PrintLife Exhibition will be hosted in Africa. This can be done by completing primary details and uploading an image at The PrintLife Exhibition is free to enter, with FUJIFILM South Africa responsible for the printing and displaying of images. The Exhibition is to be held at Sandton City between 18 and 24 June 2019, with an expected 3000 photos from across the country on show.įUJIFILM South Africa has now officially opened PrintLife entries to the public, asking for submissions from all walks of life. The FUJIFILM PrintLife Exhibition is unique, allowing anyone, and not just professional photographers, to submit an image, have it printed and then proudly displayed to the public to promote the beauty of printed photos. It is one of the world’s largest photo exhibitions and it is making its way to South Africa. ![]()
